Nothing Left To Burn
“Nothing Left to Burn” is a moving memoir by Jay Varner that looks into the life of a family that has spent years harboring secrets, both dark and volatile. The book eloquently tells the story of a son’s complicated relationship with his father, a small town fire chief, and his grandfather, a serial arsonist.
For this book trailer, we had the author record the voiceover himself, in order to emphasize the personal tone of his story. We also incorporated family photos and video footage shot on location in McVeytown, PA, to help provide an accurate sense of time and place for the story being told.
