“Our Noise” is a fascinating oral history that traces the first twenty years of Merge Records – an unlikely journey from homemade cassette tapes to the top of the Billboard charts.
But the problem with a book about music is that you can’t actually hear what it sounds like, right? We fixed that by creating this companion site which features an interactive year-by-year timeline loaded with photos, music and videos that let readers click through and check out many of the bands featured in the book.
