West of Here
“West of Here” is a brilliant historical novel by Jonathan Evison that traces the rise and fall of a fictional town called Port Bonita, Washington.
To help launch this New York Times Best Seller, we created a website that brings Port Bonita to virtual life through an immersive interactive collection of ‘historical documents’ that illustrate the history told in the novel.
We even created a series of single-page ancillary sites for locations that figure prominently in the story, such as the Bushwhacker Bar and the High Tide Seafood Company, as well as the ‘Port Bonita Chamber of Commerce‘. Each of these sites help to expand the illusion, while also providing an SEO benefit and feeding traffic to the main book site.
Plus, if you look closely, you might even experience a special appearance by Bigfoot!
